This car has been stored inside and out of the weather for the last 28 years by the original owner. I purchased this car last spring and have had nothing but fun at the local drive ins and car shows. She gets plenty of looks and interest. This car has the usual surface rust for being 45 years old. This car is super solid. Trunk pan, floor pan, quarter panels, rocker panels are all solid. Original carpet. Headliner has no rips or tears, but shows some signs of stains or discoloration. This automobile comes complete with the original warranty information booklet detailing the protection plan and protect-o-plate. The original owners manual and custom feature optional accessories manual are included in their factory plastic envelope. Car comes with factory trailer hitch. All factory seat belt retractors, rear window defroster (works great), litter container and pedal trim kit were upgrades made by the original owner. Car has been repainted one time in the last 45 years by the first owner. Both front seats could be reupholstered, if perfection is desired. The rear seat and all door panels are in exceptional condition. Drivers door panel has some slight discoloration. Original G.M. keys. Factory dealer license plate holder. All windows in great shape, no cracks. Driver side rear window crank handle is broken, however, window still rolls down. This is a cheap fix. This is a great daily driver or easy restoration project and being a factory SS, numbers matching car it is well worth your investment. This car will hold its value. All interior/exterior lighting functions, minus center console light, work perfectly. Factory dash clock is not functioning. Glove box is in good shape, free of holes or sagging. 327 emblem on passenger side, front fender is the only trim piece missing. Car runs so smooth that it is hard to tell if it is running. It's like floating on a cloud. Car comes with only one original SS hubcap. The other three were stolen. This car is a perfect example of a timeless classic with very few changes to her over the years. Just recently fixed some exhaust issues. I was not comfortable putting too much money into the car or the exhaust not knowing what the future owners would want to do with her. The exhaust is patched up and she sounds and runs amazingly. ONE THING THIS CAR NEEDS: acceleration pump rebuilt on the carburetor is necessary. This currently effects cold starts and fast take offs. Otherwise, car tracks straight and stops straight. Factory 12 bolt rear end. Unsure of gear ratio . Economy forces sale, otherwise, I would take the time myself to restore her to her previous show room glory. Bid with confidence.
