Hello... again. Once more I am listing my 1987 BMW 325is for sale because after more than 2100 hits (views by potential buyers) the previous winning bid was apparently trying to pull some kind of money scam and had to have their e bay account closed. So please no more bids from people trying to get me to wire them money to the Middle East LOL. That being said on to business. This is a great car that deserves a good home. It is the "is" which as I understand it was the precursor to the "M" series. This car is very quick and handles like a dream. It also has a ton of bolt on parts that you can buy to really make this a super sports car. The 325 is fantastic on gas and yes that is the actual mileage!!! The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner. Since this car has come into our possession it has been cared for and maintained by my father a retired licensed auto mechanic. The only reason we are getting rid of this car is because I have a newer 3 series and I simply do not have the room for the two. The car has been off the road for the last couple of years. It is in working order and runs very strong. In the interest of full disclosure the paint on the hood and the roof is in OK shape. There is a small approx 2" crack on the nose of the hood. The leather is cracked and there is a good size rip in the drivers seat. The glove box is stuck (dont know why). The A/C leaks but we did do a dye kit and have purchased the replacement piece of hose (we just never got around to installing it but it does come with the car). The passenger side window does stick sometimes. The battery may need to be replaced. The CD player is a nice Sony CD player with good sound and even has satellite radio! The tires have good tread on them. Because the car is over 25 years old it qualifies for classic or antique car insurance (generally a much lower rate in most states). The car is being sold as is. You could buy this car and not do a thing to it and you would have a nice daily driver at a fair price. Or you could put a very small amount of work into it and bring it back to showroom beauty in no time at all. Lastly THERE IS NO RESERVE FOR THIS CAR! ONE BID WINS!!! Good luck to all.
