Up for your bidding consideration is a 1983 SUZUKI SP500D ENDURO in GREAT CONDITION.1351.4 ORIGINAL MILESSuzuki Factory Service Manual included. This bike was purchased from the original owner with 1290.5 miles, it now was 1351.4.This vintage 1983 is in show condition with minimal signs of use or wear. It is as close to a mint condition enduro as we have ever seen for an unrestored all original and belongs in a collection.When introduced in 1983 by Suzuki it was the largest dual purpuse (enduro) they offered and referred to as " a jeep on two wheels". The SP500D quickly gained popularity with those seeking a large displacement dual purpose that could keep pace on the road as well as the dirt.It's 500cc. 4 stroke comes with Suzuki's Twin Swirl combustion chamber with 4 valves, considered cutting edge technology in the early 80's! The boxed steel swing arm ensured great off road performance as well. PEI ignition was an upgrade for early 80's as well. Suzuki marketed the SP500D as the "finest dual purpose machine this side of a Jeep". It starts up right away and runs strong in all gears. All electric systems function properly. The bike shifts smoothly through all five gears with no hesitation or noise.It had been used almost exclusively by the original owner as a weekender. He grew tired of it and put it into storage for over 10 years, it was stored properly as the gas tank was rust free and the paint in perfect shape. Seat is flawless with no nicks, tears or marks. The front and rear rims look brand new with no signs of wear or damage (even have original stickers).
