1979 FORD BRONCO RANGER XLT Up for bid is this very clean 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT with all of the bells and whistles.Although it is not perfect, it does only have 82,774 miles on it. The engine is a 400 with a C-6 Transmission and a 205 Transfer case. The engine is very strong. It does not have any oil major oil leaks. It does not smoke, rattle or knock, It also has very good oil pressure. The transmission all works great. It shifts smooth as it should. The transfer case has not had alot of use, but is very tight. It has a brand new exhaust system from the manifold to the tailpipe. It is a 2 1/2 inch single exhaust. This Bronco runs down the road like a dream. You can let go of the steering wheel and it drives straight down the road. This does have factory cruise control and factory tilt column, but the cruise does not work. The tilt column is tight and works good as it should.The air conditioning system is complete, the pump is good. The reason why the belt is off is because it has a bad A/C line. Once the line is replaced and system recharged the AC does work great.All of the controls for AC and Heater inside the cab (defrost/vents/floor) do work. The windshield (see picture) has a crack in it. It will have a new windshield in this Tuesday. Other than the windshield all of the glass is good, the rear window goes up and down with the in cab control and with the outside key control perfectly. Drivers seat has a tear in it, but it is not in the cloth. The carpet is in very good condition except at the very back. The door panels both have some small damage in them as you can see in the pictures. The dash has two small cracks in it. As you can see it does have a dash mat. All of the gauges in the dash work. All of the lights work. It has a brand new Kenwood CD player with an ipod port. The paint is all original and it does have some very small scratches and dings. There is no rust in the body of the Bronco anywhere except for the tailgate with 3 small rust spots at the very bottom. The tailgate has some dents in it as you can see by the pictures. The top is in excellent condition. When driving down the road it is very tight inside, it does not rattle and squeak. This Bronco is stock height, it has not been jacked up. The tires are 31x10.50x15s on stock ford aluminum rims. The tires are about 45% tread.
