The car's factory options include: 5.6 liter OHC V8 engine, automatic transmission with torque converter, supplemental restraint system, anti-theft alarm system with radio theft deterrent, power assisted steering, cruise control, tinted glass, electric window lifts, electrically heated rear window on hard top, fully independent suspension, power assisted four wheel disc brakes, anti-lock braking system, light alloy wheels, limited slip differential, leather upholstery, adjustable bucket seats and head restraints, front center folding arm rest, leather covered steering wheel and gear selector, automatic antenna, Aerodynamic Halogen Head & Fog lamps, first aid kit and air conditioning with automatic climate control and central locking. The car drives exactly like such a well maintained and serviced Mercedes with only 96K original miles should and must be seen and driven to be truly appreciated! The engine is extremely strong with no oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool. All the options are working as they should including the A/C. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest classically beautiful roadster designs built by Mercedes-Benz, probably the last classically beautiful convertible series they built and now becoming more desirable and collectible than ever before - certainly you will look long and hard to find a finer head-turning example of this last and therefore most desirable year model in this most striking and desirable of color combinations available anywhere else! Please note the CARFAX reports a "potentially inconsistent mileage reading" following a smog inspection in 6/2007 but upon investigation of the CARFAX report this is a most obvious clerical error either by CARFAX or the smog station, as according to CARFAX the mileage is absolutely consistent through all the years prior to 2007 and then after up to the present time. In 8/2006 the mileage read 81,990 miles (correct); in 6/2007 it read 89,914 miles (an error) and in 7/2007 it read 84,065 miles (correct). Obviously the odometer was not altered from 89,914 miles to 84,065 miles less than a month later!
