1985 (Generation 3) Honda ATC 250R **Relisting due to non-paying, non-responsive buyer hitting the "buy it now" option in my previous auction. If you don't intend on following through with the contractual obligation that you make buy bidding/buying, please don't bid! Thanks!** Classic and now, becoming very hard to find in nice, original condition 250R. This is the sought after liquid cooled 3rd generation, built only in 1985 & 1986. It features a 250CC, liquid cooled engine and 6-speed manual transmission. I purchased this 250R locally about a year ago and have found that I don't have the time to ride it that I was hoping I would, so I've regrettably decided to part with it. As far as I know, mechanically and cosmetically, it's very original with exception to an older FMF expansion pipe and silencer, Renthal aluminum bars, new matching grips and pad. All of the plastic and seat is original. The fenders and seat have no cracks, repairs, etc. There is one crack in the headlight housing (headlight not currently working) that's not very noticeable. It has a Hondaline brake fluid guard. All rims are original as is the front tire. The rear tires are 20x11x9 Holeshots with about 50% tread. This 250R is super reliable. It starts great, runs really well with very good compression, clutch is good, shifts nice, drives nice and stops nice. The antifreeze is clean, green and full. The original axle is strait and all of the bearing seem tight. As far as I know, it doesn't need anything that I'm aware of......jump on and ride! Regarding Shipping/Transportation: While I do not have any means to ship it, I am more than willing to assist who ever the buyer wants to contract the trucking through. I suggest using uship, which I've used in the past for various larger things I have purchased out of state and have had good luck with finding credible, reasonably priced shipping. Again, as long as it's paid for in full, I am willing to store the ATC inside until reasonable shipping/trucking can be arranged.
