1985 Chevrolet Chevette CS 2-door standard shift 4-speed. New Mexico car until we brought it to North Carolina last month. This car has new shocks, new radiator, good tires and newer radio JVC hidden CD player/radio. There is absolutely no rust anywhere. Bad news is that the New Mexico heat helped badly crack the dash, ruin the headliner, sun visors, arm rests on doors, carpet, and shift boot. Good news is they are all easy fixes. The body is straight with no accidents other than two dents shown in photos. Original red/maroon paint has been replaced with a not so professional white. Great news is this is a very good running and driving car. No issues with 1600 cc 2-barrel carb engine, four speed transmission, clutch, or rear end. All new antifreeze, quality oil and filter change, brand new shocks, and inspection by Chevette expert (ME). I am selling this car because we travel in a motor home and have used it while in the Midwest for out personal transportation. Cannot take it home because our trailer is full of furniture etc. Must sell by Oct 3, 2012. Car has clear title but tags do not go with car. I have owned many Chevettes and was responsible for maintenance on over 800 of them in the late 1980's. I have a 1977 at home. Th 1985 is a good one with 97,000 actual miles.
