Only 4118 GT/CS's were ever produced and for 1 year only, 1968. This black and yellow plated California car comes with a rebuilt 289 V8 engine, a rebuilt 2 barrel carb and a 4 speed automatic transmission. Only 200 were produced with the 289 as the engine option. This one only has 15,000 miles on it. This original condition GT/CS has spent it's entire life in California and has been with it's second owner for the last 25 years, who has cared for it at his own mechanics shop. The service records during this time will accompany this rare classic. This car has been garaged since new, with only the very slightest evidence of rust in the usual Mustang locales. This car starts right up with a roar and is in a daily driver condition. The interior is unmolested, all original and in near perfect condition. No cracks in the dash, no rips in the seats and the carpet is in very good condition. Everyhing works on this car, all the electrics, all guages, turn signals, brakes lights, speedometer, odometer, dome light, wipers. All the original stainless steel trim is in near perfect shape, and still shines to this day. It starts right up everytime with a roar as the new dual exhaust is the perfect mate! The doors shut solid, and it's ready to be driven away and enjoyed for years to come.
