I bought this lesabre from an elderly couple that where the original owners the car set up on their property covered by a garage roof for 8 years.I cleaned the fuel system and lubed the top end with oil before starting and it cranked first turn, the previous owner had stacks of maintenance papers on it ........I've replaced the modulator valve,four new tires,changed the oil transmission filters,put a new slave cylinder on it new rear brake cylinders brake pads on front and disk pads on back, new wheel bearings,air filter ,ac works .The car doesn't leak trans or engine oil,there is some surface rust,and a small dent on the front quarter panel,the head liner isn't torn nor are the seats the floor board isn't rusted out nor are the doors with exception of some surface rust on the bottom edge you can check out the pictures, the bumpers aren't rusted the car is very powerful and runs fantastic.the mileage reads right at 100,900miles and doesn't burn any smoke ,it gets 21 highway mpg and 18 city with a little T.L.C. the manufacturers estimate is 23 city and 27 highway and there should be no problem getting this car to that mpg. thank and good luck.
