I am a landscaper dissolving my business. Am selling 04 F 250 Super Duty with dump bed. The engine and all drive train components have been meticulously maintained, the truck LITERALLY RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE A NEW VEHICLE. The body however has dings and minor dents from my employees tools, wheelbarrows etc. Also rust spot over rear wheel well that is synonymous with these trucks. I have seat covers on the front seats as the drivers seat has excessive wear from excessive entry and exiting of vehicle, the drivers right armrest is also worn. All accessories are in perfect working order, a.c., heat, pwr. windows, pwr. heated mirrors, pwr locks etc. Front tires have 70% tread, rears have 40% tread. I purchased the truck in 07 from a dealer. I believe the truck was owned by Com. Ed prior to that as I saw remnants of there logo on the door when I bought it. But cannot verify. The dump will lift two tons plus and is used daily, it is in good working condition but the main shaft seals need to be replaced as the bed doesn't always want to go down unless you have some weight in it ( I was going to have the shaft re-built this winter). As you can see in photo, I recently spent $300 to re-enforce the tailgate with welded square tubing (is very strong now) Truck has 183k miles, (I have two friends that have nearly 400,000 miles on this same engine with little to no problems). KBB is reflecting $6,208 in fair condition and $7,308 in good condition. I will not list very good and excellent as I feel the truck would not meet these categories due to body dings. Replacement (new) dump beds run $3000 plus install. Basically a $9000 value for the truck with dump bed but will sell to best bid over reserve as I must sell.
