Vehicle Detail
1969 Ford F100 Ranger Here I have a 1969 Ford F100 Ranger long wheel bed thats powered by a V 8 360 Engine. I had bought this truck from a old farmer here in Texas about 3 years ago. The truck shows 90,659 miles but im not sure if thats the correct mileage so youre buying this truck as 999,999 miles. The truck does run and does drive. The exuast headers gaskets will need to be replaced due to a exuast leak. There is minor light corrosion near and on the headers. The battery stays good and strong. Alternator works very well. The truck does not use oil nor does it smoke. The truck does not run hot either. The drum brakes are a little hard and might need new shoes, but it does stop. I drive this truck when I take fishing trips or hauling. The carb has been rebuilt about 8 months ago. The power steering pressure hose does have a small leak and will need a new replacement if driven alot. The ac system is complete and hooked up but does not have a belt to the compressor leaving me to think that the compressor does not work. Everything is original on this truck besides and hanger and shackle kit on the rear end to even out the truck ride. The rear was dropped about 4 inches to make everything level. The kit is a professional lowering kit from a truck catalog. The radiator does not leak and does not use any coolent since Ive had it. But I did change the thermostate and starter solinoid. The transmisson shifts great with no issues. It is an automatic. The motor looks to have never been rebuilt but I dont know if it has or not. The trucks paint is faded but does not show any surface rust at all. The truck runs strong still and will get you down the road fast. All lights do work besides the front right blinker and rear right brake light. I have changed all the bulbs and turn signel switch but its still the same. I beleive it might be a wireing issue under the truck. Brights also work. On the drivers side bed is a dent from hitting a stump. Please look closely at the pictures provided to determine the dent before bidding. The front bumper does have a bend to it where it looks like someone hooked a chain to it to get un stuck and bent it up a little. There is no rear bumper for this truck either. Theres 1 rust spot on the corner drivers cab under the gas cap other than that this truck has VERY little if any rust. Where the dent is is missing a couple pieces of the trim. On the inside of the truck the drivers side does have a decent size tear in it as pictured. The horn on the wheel dosnt work so I put a push button on the dash and it does work. The inside door handle also is pretty bad but is still usable. Carpet is in ok shape but will need a good cleaning. The tires have about 80 percent tread left. The choke, lighter, brights, hazards, and cargo lights all do work along with the inside lights. All emblems are intact. The aluminum grill does have a few small bends and dings. All glass is intact with no cracks. The windows do roll up and down as they should. The original radio and underdash ac unit is all there and hooked up but I could not get the radio to come on. The underdash does work but the compressor isnt hooked up so it does not blow cold air. The color code is H. Axle 81 Axle 17. 05000 Pounds. 175 HP. 4000RPM 61 DSO. F10YDF51459. This truck does not need much to make it a show truck. This is a classic still running strong ford truck. Please any other questions about the truck I have not listed be sure to contact me before placeing any bid.
