This has been my commuter car for over 6 years (bought it at about 160,000 miles), but now I just can't rely on it for the hour drive each way. It can be hard to start and doesn't have much power, mostly because there is no compression on 2 of the cylinders and limited compression on the other two. It really needs a new engine. Things that work include: A/CheaterInterior Fan on speeds #3 and #4power windows (although a bit slowly)lights, signals etc.Most of the dash lightsRadio/CD player2 front speakerscruise control Things that do not work: Fan on speeds #1 and #2Power door locks (probably need lubrication)1 or 2 dash lightsEmergency brake cable frozenCassette player Rear speakers (maybe not hooked up? I just never checked out the cause after I bought the car.)Things replaced in the last year or so: Right-front wheel bearing A/C belt PS belt Front brake padsOther ‘issues’ Note the rust in photos around windshield and around wheel wells. Chips in paint and bad paint job (see right mirror and hood) after a piece of siding flew off a truck on the highway and across the right front corner of the car. Leaky rear wheel brake cylinder (I forget which side. left maybe) *may* have been in an accident years before I bought the car, but I never noticed any issue with regard to it. Theleft front wheel bearing that may need to be replaced. Either that or the CV joint is making noise. Shift linkage is very loose and getting it into first and reverse is difficult. Cigarette lighter works but has come out of the dash. 2-inch tear behind passenger seat Rear-middle safety belt partially cut off (yes, I do have boys and the culprit has admitted to it)
