This car belonged to a friend of mine who had it in storage for the past 19 years with the plan of fixing it up. He had the engine resealed, new shocks, new muffler and some other small mechanical things done then lost interest. I bought the car and spent this summer updating the cosmetics and fixing the issue that come with a car being in storage for 19 years. It is a 1976 so the body is galvanized and there are no issues with rust and only 49,000 original miles. I have the service records for the first two owners of the car. The car came from Hawaii to the midwest in 1992 and went in storage in 1993. The carpet is new (wool original quality) the seats have been restored (vinyl) rebuild the top, new paint new tires and lots and lots of cleaning. This is a very nice daily driver, I did the paint in my garage and it looks good but has flaws that can be found by looking closely. I was a professional mechanic for years and believe this to be a good sound car.
