This is a 1-owner car until last year. This vehicle was purchased brand new by Jackie Adams from Spokane, WA in late July 1976. She owned the car 35 yrs until I purchased it in 2011. Her husband was a mechanic and did all the maintenance regularly. The vehicle was garage kept and driven very rarily. The car shows 89,199 original miles. The condition of this car is amazing, it looks, drives and runs like it was only a (2) yr old car. This vehicle wears it's original 9D White paint and vinyl top that show excellant. The interior is like brand new, the seats, dash, console and headliner look brand new but are original. All the factory gauges including the clock work. The A/C blows cold air but could use a little freon to blow ice cold. This car is loaded with all factory options including: Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, 351M engine, AM/FM 8-Track with various 8-track tapes, Factory Steel Wheels, Bucket Seats with console. This vehicle is rust free and all original. You will not find a nicer 1976 Mercury Cougar XR-7 in this original condition without traveling back to 1976. This car has never been in any accident and drives/looks like it was brand new. I have not ever entered the car in any car shows but it would place 1st place in any show entered becaue of the originality of this vehicle. The reserve price is thousands less than I purchased this car for last year. Purchase of a new house forces the sale of the nicest classic car I have ever owned.
