Up for bid is my 1970 Mach 1 351 Cleveland M code mustang for restoration. This is a matching numbers car complete with all the original parts with some NOS and repro parts. This car has been in dry storage since 1983. I purchased it with the intent to restore it myself, but circumstances have changed because I moved to North Carolina and I don't have the room to complete it. I would like to sell this car to someone who has the time finish it and bring this classic back to its former self and status as one original muscle cars. Car is located in western New York near Byron and Oakfield area. Buyer is responsible for pick up and the car is sold as is. $500 deposit due at end of auction and balance within 7 calendar days thereafter. Pick up location will be disclosed via phone or email. As you look through the photos, you'll see that this is a nearly complete mach 1 with all original interior panels, seats, chrome (some nos) bumpers, insignias with some new pieces. New body parts include new hood with lock downs, new trunk lid, left and right side trunk floor, floor panels left and right. New rear right quarter panel repro part. The motor has the original heads that are 11.4 compression 300hp. It was partially rebuilt back in the mid 90's and has been stored since then. Restoration includes new pistons, timing chain and gear, two connecting rods, freeze plugs and few misc parts. No exhaust manifolds are with the motor. Transmission in an FMX in that has not been rebuilt. 3.25 standard axle.
