Vehicle Detail

Here is a 1931 Model A Victoria Leatherback. This was a barn find. Car has a clear open Maryland title. The previous owner began to restore this car, the frame and drivetrain has been sandblasted and repainted black. Then he said he got too busy to finish restoration set the body back on the car so it was easier to keep it together and move it around for storage. The body looks like it had been sandblasted at some point, but had never been repainted. The car has been stored in a barn for 30 years. The previous owner said the car ran when he originally disassembled it. I did not try and start the car but the engine is free and turns over by hand. The wheels are in nice shape and not rusty. One tire is new three are dry cracked. There is some damage to the roof on the passenger side which is visible in one of the pictures. And in another picture shows a replacement panel for the damaged area. It has some rust in the body in the front on each side. Which is visible in the pictures. I think it would make a nice restoration project to go back as an original car or a custom rat rod. This car has a low starting price with no reserve. If you have any questions I will be more than happy to awnser them. Please contact me. Thanks, enjoy. On Aug-31-12 at 15:55:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a 1931 Model A Victoria Leatherback. This was a barn find. Car has a clear open Maryland title.
