HELLO VIEWERS, your looking at a 66 galaxie barn find in great condition for its age,my understanding is that it's been parked since the 80's. This jewel is in running,and moving condition,but WILL REQUIRE WORK. It says that it's a 390 engine,however there is a tag on it that says genuine ford remanufactured 352,appears to been installed by a dealership,as all things are hooked up properly,and kept nice,and clean. I have been asked about option tag on door,it is as follows,BODY63B/ COLOR m/ TRIM64/DATE23L/ DSO65/ AXLE 1 /TRANS 4/.It is an automatic,and has power steering,brakes,and a/c that is still all hooked up,but haven't tried it yet. I pulled all the plugs,and presoaked cylinders for awhile before turning it over to prime the pump,then reinstalled all good plugs,cleaned points,put new fuel pump on,and fired it right up,and it runs fairly well,but carb WILL NEED A KIT. The car goes into gears fine,with no hesitation.All the gauges seem to work fine,and even the clock will work if u give it a tap.The interior is superisingly nice for age,has a few small holes in headliner above the visors,and seat has the usual driver side small split in vinyl,it has a bronze colored interior as i said that appears fairly decent,carpet as well. NOW down to the exterior,well it's not gunna need that much,has small amounts of rust around rear tires,and a little in corners of drivers door,but nothing substantial. Most all body panels aren't dented except for a dent in back trunklid,not very big,but noticeable,and i bought another one for it incase. The underside of car is immaculate condition,with no signs of rust through,nor on the frame= floors are all GREAT,and the car shows it was from oklahoma. Now for what it needs,the windshield is cracked,and i have purchased one that will go with it,if i haven't already installed,same goes for the fuel tank,DEFINATELY THE FUEL TANK WAS BUMPED WHEN LOADED,i bought a good one with the sender,but it HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED YET,also bought a used rear bumper for it,as the original is dented. The brakes don't seem to have any blown lines,but hang up abit. I have purchased many extra interior items,and several external parts,and panels,which i had planned to sell separate,but if u are interested we could make up a package deal.
