You are looking at a classic 1974 Volkswagen WestfaliaTHE RAREST YEAR OF THE ALL BAY WINDOW BUSES....The only year with this particular interior layout! NADA BOOK VALUE AS OF TODAY (AUG.26, 2012) $34,000!!!! This bus has had more than 400 man hours put into its "attention to detail" restoration. Its complete restoration includes but is not limited to: Dis-assembly to a shell. Undercarriage was thoroughly power washed and cleaned, then undercoated to prevent future surface exposure. All mechanical components have been inspected and/or tested and either repaired, restored, or replaced. A two-tone DuPont base coat-clear coat interior and exterior paint and finish (including wet sand and polish). All four shocks and steering dampener have been replaced with new. All 5 rims have been painted front and back with matching “top” color. New steel belted radial tires. She is powered by a Porsche 914 boxer motor. 1.8 Liter/1800cc Carbureted "Pancake". For reliability we have installed a new Holley Weber carburetor system with a modern Pertronix brand electronic ignition. (No point replacement ever necessary)Because of these upgrades, tune-ups need only consist of oil changes. A convenient cylinder head temperature gauge has been installed on the dashboard gauge cluster.This helps to clearly prevent the possibility of over heating. New clutch, exhaust, fan belt, etc. have been installed. All new rubber gaskets throughout. Including: Door seals, window rubber, handle gaskets, window channels, etc. Interior has new custom upholstery and carpet. Featuring a black perforated leather like vinyl, with pleating, piping and accenting trim. All original RARE interior furniture has been reconditioned. Dashboard and components have been beautifully restored. All glass is excellent. On top sits, a freshly painted fiberglass “pop-top” and luggage rack with new Westfalia stickers, new rubber, and 3 window canvas tent with zippers and screens for bugs and ventilation. AND MORE…..
