Up for auction is one 1983 Isuzu Pup Diesel truck in excellent running and driving condition. This vehicle is NOT in need of mechanical repair in order to be driven. This truck has been in our family for the past three years. My father used this truck as his daily driver for the last two years. He would average 40-45mpg on one tank of diesel. This truck is smoke free. Bench seat is comfortable without rips or tears. Both doors shut as if they were brand new. No sagging hinges here. Vehicle does NOT smoke. She runs very clean. Does not leak any fluids. All controls work. All lights work. Wipers work. Stereo comes with CD player and detachable face, plus auxiliary port. Four inch long crack at the base of the passenger windshield. This does not obstruct your view or anyone else's view. This is not a legal issue. We do not have the tailgate or sun visors. Headliner is not perfect. Tires are about 50%. Slotted aluminum rims. This is not a show truck. Cosmetically she is not perfect. If you don't care what people think about your truck and you are more concerned about your miles per gallon, this is the truck for you. Odometer stopped working at 175,000 miles. My father had it rebuilt and there is roughly 176,000 miles on this truck. All factory emissions and controls under the hood and the cab are still evident. The only non-factory option added to this vehicle is a switch on the dash that controls the power to the injection pump. This truck has regularly been serviced at the local Isuzu dealer for the last two years. All new glow plugs, oil filter and fuel filter have been installed. She runs pretty quiet for a diesel. Newer injection pump installed. The bed contains rust. For being 29years old she is in better shape than some humans her age.
