This is a MINT 1979 Mercedes Benz 300 D. It's owned by an older musician here in Santa Fe, and is part of his car collection. This stunning Benz has just 47,066 miles on it! It has been in the same family since purchased and has spent most of its life here in NM. The owners son drove it for awhile and then gave it back (which is why it will say multiple owners). But the car comes with all books, documentation and records. This car has been very well maintained and it shows! It has never been in an accident. And has no rust. The car runs and drives perfectly, so smooth (I got a chance to test drive it :) and it was awesome, I wish they made all cars like this, this is German engineering at its finest). Everything (power windows, cruise, all lights, heat & A/C, radio and antenna, on the car work as they should, and would make a great addition to any collector!! The owner has sold his home and has moved to a much smaller place in town and now has to get rid of a few cars (more to come). The only thing on this car that is not orignal are the wheels, but the original wheels do come with the car. I didn't get a close-up of the window rubber but it's perfect. This car has been garaged its whole life. And was only driven a few miles every month. I suspect that there is not another as good in the country maybe even the world (thats crazy to think about). It gets over 30 miles per gallon. I have tried to give you all angles of the car. I have looked this car over and over and the paint is all original and is as close to perfect as you are going to get on a 30 year old car. The interior is excellent and I think the pictures will show you that. If you need a particular picture that I am not showing let me know and I will post it or send it to you.
