This is an True 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Original "H" Code 351W / FMX Automatic with factory Shaker Hood Scoop. I did order a Marti report to prove that it is a very rare factory shaker hood Mach with that came with a 2 barrel. The original color combination is Dark Ivy Green with Ginger interior. Very rare & beautiful colors if restored back to original. 1 of 566 Mach 1's with this paint/trim combo according to Marti Auto Works. Prior History: It was found sitting out in Southern California, in the owner's back yard. The 2nd owner purchased it in the late 70's from his close friend. After driving it off & on for nearly 15 years, the owner parked it due to the fuel pump going out in 93'. Just letting it sit on four flats in his driveway, never getting around to putting it back on the road. The owner finally came to reality that he was never going to restore it & decide to sell it. Spent it's life in Los Angeles, making it a fine example of a California Mustang. I do have the original Blue plates in the trunk that came with the car. Original panels & undercarriage. Solid floor pans & most important - they have never touched. Factory quarters / fenders / trunk pan & Shaker Hood. The aprons are factory and straight along with the radiator support. It was only repainted once in the 80's a bright yellow. The driver side & fender has some damage but the door open/closes. All the Ginger interior is 100% original & stock. Never been taken out of the car or restored. Missing the stock radio. When it was found sitting, it had Cragers & old school tires on it that was flate. They were replaced with Ford steel wheels & 14' tires. Looks like at one point they switched out the intake, electric fuel pump & carburetor, old school hot rod with track bars. I had the 4 barrel rebuilt, drained/replaced the gas & replaced the fuel pump. Started right up after sitting for 20 years. It's running & driving but not road ready. Engine sounds good & automatic shifts. I do have the other hood hinge, fender light trim & hood lock. Overall, this is a very Rare Mach 1 that would make a great restoration project. It is being sold as a project. Needs to be restored but it's complete & original. A factory Shaker 70' Mach 1 is getting impossible to find in this shape, especially a H Code. ____________________ Conclusion & Terms _________________________I have set my auction at 5 Days With No Reserve, so please only serious bidding.
