Vehicle Detail
This is a 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5 with 50,300 miles and counting. It is in very good, used condition. It’s a driver, not a show car and therefore shows some minor signs of use. I’ve owned it since March, 2011 and really enjoy it. I’m selling it to free up some garage space. Color is “Titanium Grey Metallic” in Mazdaspeak which is Silver to the rest of us. The Mazdaspeed version of the MX-5 was only available in 2004 and 2005. It came with the turbocharged, intercooled version of their 1.8l four which makes about 180 horsepower. The Mazdaspeed also included aluminum hood, tighter suspension, front strut tower brace, aluminum hood, larger exhaust system and more. This car also has the Grand Touring Package which includes red-stitched/black-leather wrapped seats, steering wheel and shift knob. It has a factory installed Bose AM/FM/6 disc CD sound system which sounds great. These cars came with 17 inch Racing Heart, five spoke wheels. Mine needed tires, so I replaced wheels with a set of MAXXIM AIR 15X6.5 wheels on advise from the experts at Good Win Racing. They are lighter, stronger and give up nothing in the corners. The original Racing Hearts are in my basement and will go with the car. I might consider selling them separately if the car doesn’t sell. I encourage potential buyers to come see/drive the car themselves. If that’s not possible, I’ll gladly take the car to a mechanic (or Mazda dealer) of your choice in the Denver area for inspection. Contact me through eBay message or call 970 531 1814. No secrets. No stories. This car is a ton of fun. It loves the mountain passes and canyon roads here in Colorado. It’s been completely trouble free since I’ve owned it. Just turn the key and go - fast. I reserve the right to end the auction early. See my other auction for a 1971, tubocharged Datsun 240Z. If one car sells, I’m keeping the other. Shipping is up to you. I'll gladly help loading up the car. I'd recommend driving it home.
