FORMER TDI (TURBOCHARGED DIESEL) CAR THAT USED TO GET MID-40’S MPG. VW made far more Jettas than Passats, and TDI Passats weren’t available every year so TDI Passats are very rare. If you are restoring a Passat, this would be a good parts car that would save you lots of time searching for parts. OR, restore this Passat wagon. Among the parts you would need would be a used TDI engine and transmission, A/C compressor and radiator, a new windshield and hood (the hood opened when the Passat was being hauled, the windshield is broken, and the hood is pretty bad). The front fenders were also dented, but it looks as though they can be saved. For sale “as is” and buyer is responsible for pick-up. Located in east central Illinois near Rt. 36, about 25 miles from the Indiana line, and about 100 miles west of Indianapolis. The buyer is responsible for pick-up.
