First, the issues. This car has a rebuilt title. I believe it was involved in an accident in the front end and the front doghouse was replaced. There is no damage to the frame. the car drives straight and true. There is a "Service Engine Soon" light on which throws the (P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor) code. The engine runs well, but because the computer doesn't read the cam position the performance isn't optimized and it is sluggish at times under 3000 rpm. Above 3000, it is very strong and smooth. This is very common on these cars. The airbag light is also on. I have not looked into this. It is common for a small sensor to go bad on these cars. The good. This is a very solid car with the right look and features. Beautiful red exterior with black leather interior, Sport suspension, and sunroof. It has 17" wheels. The following has been replaced within the last 3000 miles: -New tires -New A/C compressor and condensor (The a/c with dual climate control works great). -New clutch fan -New MAF sensor -New Plugs, oil, and filter -New front wheel bearings -Computer harness -New CCV valve -New fuel filter -New VANOS seals -Headlight adjusters The car drives smooth and is very quiet. The Tiptronic transmission works perfectly and shifts smoothly. Put it in drive as an automatic or shift gears manually. Everything works, except for windshield washer. The reservoir will not hold fluid and probably has a bad hose somewhere. The suspension feels good with tight steering, etc. The cruise control and radio controls are mounted on the steering wheel and work perfectly. It has a cassette player and a CD Changer. I don't know if either work as I have never tried them. The radio display is missing some pixels (very common). The stereo is excellent, very clear and high quality. all of the electric windows work as they should. The interior is good. The leather seats have no rips or tears. The front seats are excellent. They are power adjustable and have the memory setting feature. The rear seat shows some slight wear. There is normal nicks, cracks, wear, etc but nothing you would not expect in a car of this age. The sunroof works as it should. The body is good with two small areas of rust just under the paint. One is a quarter size spot at the gas door. The other is a spot under the drivers door and is not visible from the outside of the car. There is a ding or two and a scuff on the front right fender and a scuff or two on the rear bumper. The paint has a good shine to it. I have tried to document everything in the photos. As you can see it is a great looking bimmer. I have had the car for a few months. I bought it for may kids to drive, but realized it may not be practical for them. I just bought something else and now need to get this out of the garage. I have put about 4000 miles on it since I bought it and have put about 500 on it in the last few days. I have priced for a quick sell. I looked at a lot of bimmers of this age before I found this one. This one is better than most that I looked at and all were priced at least a couple of thousand dollars more than I am asking. 100k plus mileage is nothing for these cars. I don't require a deposit, but do ask that the winning bidder promptly contact me to arrange pickup.
