I have a Classic 1971 Datsun Pickup that does not run at the moment. I have tinkered with it and decided that the carberator needs to be rebuild, although I am not a mechanic. It will start up and die seconds later. The interior is not great and could use some t.l.c, the dash is cracking just like any car from the 70's the carpet on the ground is tattered and the covers on the door panels are also torn and need to be repaired. Windshield and windows are not cracked but the windshield has caulking around the edges, someone put it on half-ass but there is no leaks on any of the windows. Minimal rust to the body, there's a few chips in the paint and rust took over those area but none are over 1 inch, the undercariage on the other hand is pretty rusty. The wheels and tires are useable but can be replaced, they hold air. Has all emblems shiny and new, original windshield wipers and has never been crashed so there is almost no dents and none of them are as big as your hand, good body. I feel the price is good considering all other Datsun I see on Craigs List and Ebay are around $2000. This pickup does have rebuilt fuel pump, new fuel lines, alternator, voltage regulator.
