Vehicle Detail
CAR IS SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY. Listed for sale is a 1932 Auburn 8-100A convertible. And two Lycoming V12 engines. We are selling all of our extra parts from our restoration project. And what you see in the pictures is what in included in the auction. Parts will be sold together, the only way the car will be sold with out the V12 engines, is if a buyer can be found through the auction that wants the engines. And someone else wants the car. If you win the auction, the car and all parts pictured are yours. If there are some parts you do not want to take, They will be scraped. The Auburn has a pretty good body for it's age, and still has it's factory tag on the floor L29-753. I have extra pictures showing the body off of the frame, so you can see the bottom. Front sheet metal, straight 8 GU engine and frame are from another Auburn 1931-1932. Engine would have to be looked at as a core, frame is just a roller, front fenders were being worked on by a gentleman named John Legue. Convertible body, running boards and rear fenders are from a 1932 Auburn. Car is not a 100% complete, if you do not see it in the pictures, we do not have it. Doors are complete with all latches, strikers, guides and windows. All convertible parts are there. Car is restorable, but parts would have to be found. If you have a unrestored sedan. This would be all you would need to turn it in to a convertible. The engines are a Lycoming V12 out of a American LaFrance. The engine on the cart has had the short block built, and is 100% complete. The other motor has a good block, cam, heads, manifolds and a ton of extra parts. Again please look at the pictures. I have over 150 pictures showing the car and parts, that I can email to you. Please send an email address when requesting pictures. Car is sold with out a title. I do have a state of Maine registration that will go with the car. So you can get a title. Car is a project. Again please ask questions you have about the car and parts.
