This car was bought new at Atlanta Classic Cars in Duluth, GA. by the original owner, whom had all the required service done by the selling dealer, During the first ownership, it was driven very little, by a very busy adult businessman, and garaged,and covered, in a climate controlled environment at all times. Upon his decision to part with the car, at very low mileage, it was transported to me via enclosed auto transport to Memphis, TN. Each time, before the car was driven, I would always consult the weather channel before my local countryside drives. The only water this car has ever seen, the whole time I have owned the car, is only when it was washed. Nor, has it ever seen snow. The car has always continued to be garaged in a climate controlled environment, and covered with Covercraft's top of the line cover, custom made just for this car. During the winter months, I put the car up on jack stands, topped the tank off with BP Ultimate premium fuel, and Sta-bil fuel stabilizer was added and ran through the fuel system before winter storage. Also, during all extended periods of storage, I always kept a Battery Tender on the batteries as well. About 1,000 miles ago, at which point, I returned back to my hometown of Connersville, IN. I returned back to Indiana last Fall, and only drove the car maybe a total of 500 miles, before winter arrived, at which point it was again, prepared as described earlier, in a climate controlled facility. This Spring, and Summer, I may have put a total so far of about 500 more miles, weather permitting. We have been having lot's of very dry, warm weather, so I have been driving it a few miles each week, my average trip consisting of about 35 miles maximum. The majority being 10 miles or less. It has always had BP Ultimate 93 octane fuel ran in it as long as I have owned it, and nothing but Mobil 1 Oil, and filter, as recommended by Mercedes-Benz. This car is in as good condition as any 1,000 mile car you can locate anywhere, and would not look out of place on any showroom floor. ABSOLUTELY, NO paintwork, rock chips, door dings, wheel chips, or any other exterior blemishes whatsoever, which I tried to show in the pictures of the car...CLEAN CARFAX, and nothing to hide. The interior is like brand new, and the seat bolsters show virtually no wear or wrinkling whatsoever. The exterior and interior care has been maintained using only Meguiars Gold Class products, which I feel are the best available. If you want the cleanest, most pristine SL55 AMG on the current market, which there aren't a lot of low mileage, no paintwork, two-owner, Clean Carfax, specimens out there, then here is your car.....Kelley Blue Book lists the suggested market price at $39,673.00.
