1972 BUICK SKYLARK GS 455 I took a nonrefundable deposit on this GS and the gentleman could not get the rest of the money so it is up for sale again. Sloan Documentation available on this original GS 455 and there is a picture of the original Buildsheet .This was a ‘special order’ car with an interesting combination of options and history. This car was sold new in Hawaii then made its way to California, Kansas and then to me. The car odometer shows 61,895 miles and looks to be correct. This is very rust free car and the cars original color is 14 Silver Mist Irid poly with black interior. I think the interior is all original and is in very good condition for its age. The trans is original numbers matching that has been rebuilt. Engine is a replacement 455 that runs good and has headers. The casting number on the block is 1241735 (455). The AC box has been removed and an AC delete box installed. It looks like all the interior AC items are still there. The right front fender has a dent in the front edge, the car has some dings, dents and this car needs paint. The shocks look to be new and the two front tires look to have less than 100 miles on them (still have the nibs on them). This Real GS 455 has paperwork to prove it was built new as a GS 455 (see build sheet). This GS is NOT a clone….It has a clean and clear title. All the power windows do work. The car runs and drives fine, view a video below. This is one of the most rust free body’s that you will come across. This GS has a factory painted top AC, PS, PB, factory buckets and console. Most of the car looks original and good overall restorable condition. I believe 90% of the paint is original. The floors, trunk, rockers and qtrs. look real good. The car is missing its engine but still retains its original trans and rear axle. It has 70 supersport wheels 14x6 code JK and a repairable grille. I also have enough engine parts to build a 455 engine and a lot of other items. This 1972 Sun Coupe needs total restoration but what is nice about it is that nobody has messed with it and everything is there. It looks to be original paint and interior. It does run but it has a bad master cylinder and it would need the tank cleaned from old gas. I started it using a gas can. From what I know this car was ordered by a GM person. It has a clean clear title. This car has a ton of options and I will try to list them. It has a 350 4bbl, auto, posi rear, power disc brake, PS, air condition, power bucket seat, console, tilt, sport wheel, power windows, power locks, rally gauges, am/fm – 8 track, rear defogger, map light, light group, deluxe interior and chrome rally wheels. car.
