For Sale: 1964 Dodge Max Wedge 2 door Model 440 Sedan This 426 Ramcharger Max Wedge was just acquired by our dealership. We bought this car at a very small collector sale we attended every year. “What a find” Don’t know a whole lot about this one, but here is what we do know. This is a totally rust free Max Wedge. It has the correct Max Wedge 426 cu. in. V-8 with very rare factory exhaust manifolds. This car runs absolutely perfect there are absolutely no issues. The paint is single stage enamel and the car has only had on repaint and as far as we can tell, it is the original color combination. The interior is “ALL ORIGINAL” and is in near mint condition. The big Torgue Flite Transmission still retains the push button selector. This car drives and handles as good as it looks, Runs at 195° with 70lbs. of oil pressure. The old Torue-Thrust D’s look great and are correct to the mid-sixty’s look. I have included all the numbers I could find on this car. I bought this car as a re-creation but the more we view this one, the more we are starting to think differently. The chrome and stainless are original and again, in near mint condition. I do not recognize the names on the glove box; but if someone knows they can email us and clue us in on who they, it would be great to put more history with the car.
