Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1970 Road Runner Coupe, not a clone. It has a 440 HP Motor 8 3/4 rearend with 410 gears and a brand new 727 auto tranny. it is a driver quality car. (not a show car) The car is very solid.(framerails are very good) The quarters are starting to bubble on the bottom look at pics. The roof is starting to bubble a little on the passenger side. The trunk was replaced but I would replace it again. This car you can drive it while you restore it. The headliner and seats are in nice condition. The gas gauge does not work it needs a sending unit. this is a nice driver or cruise in car. its priced accordingly . call Mike at 803 236 8828 mjhill@ftc-i.net 2ND listing on this car ....after my 1st auction, I want to do 2 things in this new listing,,,...1st add more pics, and 2nd tell more about this car. my 1st listing makes this car to appear to be a "drivable project"(almost made it sound worse than the car actually is) , its actually allot better than that, this 440 car will start up within 2 seconds of turning the key, sounds great , and can be driven to the local cruise in ...or to a car show 100 miles away, It is solid in all other areas other than the ones listed... (*lower quarters and a bit of bubbling near the roof line. ) Other than that , she's actually a great looking/great driving car. Still retains the Plymouth smell that most cars lose with restoration.... it turns heads and gets plenty of "thumbs up". The paint is shiny, but has some trash in some areas, and Id say it was a 7 on a scale of 1-10. One thing I didn't mention in my first listing is that the new transmission is a Summit" Street fighter". It has a transmission cooler and is built for a Performance application.... meaning .... its shifts hard.... "small child neck jerking hard"..... the reason for me saying this is if you are looking for a Roadrunner to take the family to the local cruise in.... you may want to "rework" the shift characteristics of this car. Keep in mind it runs and shifts fine ..... Just shifts HARD.
