Vehicle Detail
For Sale: 1971 GMC Suburban Super Custom 1/2 ton. Factory 402 Big Block, TH400 auto, PDB, PS, and overhead A/C(doesn't work.) 60,000 miles on rebuilt motor and the heads were completely rebuilt 2 years ago with new everything. Factory Q-jet carb was sent to Steve Zepeda Carburetors in Texas where it received a complete rebuild and replating. Truck was lowered with dropped A-arms from Charley's Drop Shop in the front and Air Ride Technologies air bags in the rear. I also installed front and rear sway bars from Charley's Drop Shop so it handles nice. Has 15x8 Wheel Vintiques Chrome rally wheels with Mooneye Bullet center caps and BFG T/A Radials all the way around (about 50% wear on tread.) Has new: Radiator, starter, front KYB shocks, Flowmaster mufflers, and brakes. Rearend fluid was recently changed as well. Paint is an old repaint that is in ok condition (see pics.) Body is super straight with some rust in rockers and inside rear lift gate(see pics.) Interior is all original and in real good shape. There are some tears in the front and rear seats where the vinyl mates up to the cloth inserts, maybe can be fixed (see pics.) Chrome and trim are all in really good shape. Runs and drives excellent. I've had this for 7 years and it has been my daily driver the whole time, long distance road trips and all. It's a real head turner and gets so much attention wherever it goes. I have stacks of receipts from me and the original owner along with the original Protecto-plate and owners manual. It even still has the original jack , lug wrench and spare tire! This truck is truly unmolested and I've tried to keep it that way. I have the truck listed locally, so I have the right to end the auction early.
