This listing is for a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass "S" 2 door holiday coupe. This car originally came with a 350 rocket, but is now sporting a rather hefty 455 4 barrel engine backed by what looks to be a TH400 automatic. It is a metallic blue, with white interior, bench seat and a column shift. (all pieces to the interior are present, just been removed to start the repair work). The rear gears I would assume are somewhere in between 3:55 and 3:73 ranged and a limited slip as it is posi trac sometimes, but not always. This is a strong daily driver, that you can restore as you drive. As you can see from the pictures, it is over all pretty sound and the frame is solid. How ever it does need some metal work, the floor pans will need to be patched or replaced if you want to do it correctly, the lower sections of the quarter panels and fenders will need to be either patched or replaced with lower section replacement skins which are available. The trunk could use some attention as well, this cars is a solid driver and is currently on the road and registered. As I said this is a drive it as you fix it car. It runs strong and is extremely fast. The car has new tires and plugs were just changed out so it runs like new. Too many projects, too little time, so something must go. This is a great fixer upper and would also make a great 442 clone as you can see it has the badges on it already, needing just a few more bits to convert it to a proper tribute car.
