Paint is not perfect. Body has two visible dents one on each side again after having them professionally removed (there's little respect in South Florida) plus some minor paint marks all around. All modifications have been done solely for reliability, hence the two original sequential Hitachi turbos in place and OEM wheels. To see additional pictures from interior, modification history, including original e-bay page from previous seller, please contact me and I will email you back a link for you to review them. This is a 3rd to 4th Owner car that apparently was sold at a Novato, California auction to its last owner in North Carolina. It was then bought sight unseen and transported to Miami and has had a very good garaged life with me ever since, including proper maintenance and oil/filter change every 2,500 Miles to 3,000 at the most with all records and receipts. This Mazda has been properly serviced, owned by a true car enthusiast and never raced. Both turbos run on minimum boost setup to preserve engine. The auto rev limiter emits a singular "blip" warning sound at 7,000 to preserve engine from any harm. Engine is religiously allowed to cool down time after being driven. Car always starts even if switched off immediately (that's almost unheard of any other Rotary engine out there). Hood is always opened after spirited driving to let hot air escape as this provides all engine components extended longevity and reliability. And yes, it has been known to eat Caymans and M3's for lunch, effortlessly when provoked. You may notice the right inner front fender has some small red paint markings, this is because one of the previous owners did not report the car was in a light accident. Apparently neither Carfax nor AutoCheck were informed. However I want to fully disclose everything I know about the car. This was discovered while the correct '93 front end nose was being installed. The original mounting bracket for the transmission cooler was twisted and broken and still is. Nevertheless, the car did not suffer any structural damage and is driven religiously every other day year round without any problems. The car brakes on a dime and gives you 9 cents change. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the car and its condition. Both CD player and power antenna do not work. Everything else does work correctly. Light toggle switch from rear hatch is missing. The inside cabin and trunk have been hand rubbed with ceramic paint to deflect heat and noise. Raamaudio closed-foam has been installed on top of ceramic coat for even yet more noise control. The transmission shifts gracefully. You will find yourself very silently reaching warp speed, while the dual tip exhaust lets you hear when the car has shifted into cruising fourth gear. It is so quiet during normal street driving, the hatch lock mechanism is the "usual for FD models" only annoying noise from time to time. Except for the driver's seat and few center console and dashboard zones, the interior is absolutely clean. However, you need to know there are two rips only. One is 4 inches high in the left bolster of said seat, the other one is half an inch on the upper back side of same seat. The transmission console has some scruff marks from the pealed paint, typical of this year model only. Never abused trunk tray with both hinges slides smoothly in unison with the two rear hatch struts. Spare tire seems to never have been used with original cardboard cover on top. I had the rare privilege to open the (until then new) plastic sealed lug nut locks. All around the carpeting is pristine. Carjack and tire stopper works flawlessly. Everything else looks and feels very nice. Even the little fuse box under the left side dashboard has all of its original fuses with the extracting mini tool in place! As you can see from the pictures this a very well refreshed 19 year old fine RX-7 extremely fast daily driver. But never mind its great speed; its incredible suspension is totally amazing! This car even in its present "sleeper" form delivers the most wickedly addictive pleasure in leaving behind any other car by either its sheer speed, stopping power or balanced handling. Having said that, it can be a handful in the rain so prudence is the better part of valor. Now it is being put at auction with no reserve but please bear in mind my initial cost of $6,800 and how much worth in new parts, love and attention to detail has been put into it. The car needs nothing to be enjoyed on a daily basis. It is up for auction as is with no warranty explicit or implied of any kind. I am sincere in my own car description. I reserve the right to remove this listing and cancel the auction at any time as I may offer it locally. The car is reluctantly being put to auction since I cannot enjoy it with my lovely two and a half year old daughter and my wonderful wife at the same time. I care for this car a great deal lot but driving along with my whole little family is priceless. On Jul-26-12 at 15:10:45 PDT, seller added the following information:
