A Small kiss on the front end caused the original owner to put 75 grills in for the blinkers then shortly after drove it into a barn where it has been since just before All in the Family went off the air.. Now it is back out in the sunshine and still running like a bat out of hell!! It does demand on the instructions that it wants 91 octane or higher.. Lol. The decades in the barn let rust play a little.. SMALL surface rust on the floor pan But the fenders and quarters have seen less rusty days.They will need work. I am including the brand new front end parts shown plus the original 74 grills. one wheel cap and one beauty ring are missing *probably still in the Barn) . I will include an extra matching wheel with a good spare on it. "unmolested" Barn finds usually come with most of the drivetrain torn out and gone...This Beast drove in AND drove out!!! The Carpet?... Rotten! But the dash, seats and panels all look new.. The electric has a few small issues that I found. The oil sending unit needs replacing(But has excellent pressure). The drivers window doesn't go down(but doesn't hum either so probably a wire, corrosion or a fuse) STARTS AND RUNS GREAT WITH NO PROBLEM but the shifter needs a small tap forward as the adjustment for the emergency cutoff switch is a touch off. You can restore it or DRIVE IT AS IT IS!!.. Everybody turns to look when they hear it coming and restored or not it is an original 455 Trans Am roaring past.. Who is NOT going to be impressed?.. It has collected some rust from decades stored in the Barn. The fenders and quarters have seen the worst of it.. IF YOU WANTED TO RESTORE the Body and Fender rust could be fixed but Fenders are inexpensive and better to replace. The rear quarters will have to be replaced. Did I mention it has WICKED POWER???
