Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1972 Buick GS convertible. This car is a REAL GS, not a clone. I've owned the car for the last 5 years and it hasn't seen rain since I've owned it. This car is optioned with a 350/4bbl engine that I cannot confirm is numbers matching and a Turbo 350 Automatic three speed transmission. The body is straight and the engine runs strong. The car has been serviced by a respected local mechanic. Comes with functioning RAM AIR hood and also has an eye catching hood tach. I upgraded the wheels to 15x7 and added BFGOODRICH Radial T/A's in 2010 that are like new. Comes with the original Sonomatic AM/FM radio(not currently in dash). The white convertible top was replaced in 2006 and I just had the hydraulic lines and pistons replaced in June. Also comes with matching convertible top boot. Top goes up and down smoothly. The exhaust sounds throaty and really adds to the ride. The A/C is currently not working but I believe it needs to be recharged. Though not in perfect concours condition, this car is very nice GS 350 that is a real head turner wherever it goes. In keeping with the Buick "gentleman's muscle car" heritage, this GS is a reasonable priced example of a rare muscle car that is also nicely optioned. The car is ready to be used for summer top down cruising and is a solid cruise night/driver that runs strong and looks great. Now, in keeping with my policy of full disclosure I've included photo's that show several of the cars defects. 1) a 1'' scratch on the drivers side front fender 2) a small chip on the passenger side door 3) the drivers side door insert has a small tear on the lower portion 4) the switch for the washer/wiper doesn't sit perfectly straight 5) the drivers side seat is worn, not torn but showing wear I've included photo's of all these issues because I'm honest and have nothing to hide. The car is priced accordingly. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime for any reason. Thanks for looking.
