We pulled this and our Jeep back here behind our motorhome. After we got back, we realize that we can only afford to keep one vehicle of this nature. The Jeep has just had some money dumped into it and the ride is too stiff on the Land cruiser for my wife. Smoother on the Jeep. So the Land cruiser has to go. Decent original condition. Not a rust bucket like so many Land Cruisers out there.Mostly surface rust, and not too much of that. It is important to know that this is a 4 speed rig. The three speed will barely do 45mph. 6 cyl, 4 speed, New soft top, still in the wrapper, newer 32" tires, moderate lift. Original paint, new exhaust, headers, towbar, Just under 98k original miles Very dependable, daily driver. The trans and transfer case are tight. No chatter or popping out of gear. 4x4 works great. Later high back bucket seats. I have the tailgate with the spare tire mount. There is a spare front bumper. The jumpseats are there but one needs to be recovered. This would be a great one for restoration. I paid more for this than I expect to get back but I just put a new engine in the Jeep. So I just had an impulse moment. Any way this is a better fj40 than most I have seen over the past few years. No reserve, it will sell to the highest bidder. And we need the money. I will help with shipping as far as picking it up goes. We sold an fj40 last winter that was a real rusty car and it brought $4500 and a semi truck took it to California. Thanks for looking. This is a very cool ride. Winter or summer. It will go anywhere. Gets great mpg. 23 in town. Starts up perfect every time and runs down the road straight as an arrow. Tires have deep tread. I paid a lot for this, maybe too much, but everything I have ever looked at or owned was always full of rust. I couldn't resist it. If you are looking for a Land Cruiser this is a really good one to get without getting up into the crazy money. Even the gas tank door lock works.
