1979 Ford F150 Supercab, 4x4, lifted on 33" tires Very difficult to find a '79 F150 that has both the Supercab (has 5 seatbelts but seats 6 easily) that also has the 4x4. I searched for a long time and finally found this one 18 months ago on eBay out in California and paid to have it shipped to Arkansas to be restored. My son and I decided to restore a '67 Mustang instead, so the truck doesn't get much attention. The truck isn't perfect...has some rust and needs a little body work and paint. 33' tires...Three of the rims are matching, the other wheel is the spare. One tire is brand new in back...2 of them have some dry-rot and need replaced. But it does start and runs strong. 4WD works well...I paid to have the hubs taken apart and repacked. I also paid to have new brakes...new master cylinder, new power booster and new pads on front. I purchased new hubs and shoes for the rear brakes, but my mechanic said the existing ones were in good shape...I'll include the new hubs and shoes at no charge. This truck has serious low-end torque in 1st gear...I drove it to Joplin, MO last year to help out with the tornado clean-up and it was pulling huge tree trunks with no problems. I'm hoping the right person sees this auction and knows how rare the Supercab / 4x4 combo is from the 1970's. It would be a good work truck or farm truck...but even better if the right person fully restored it.
