This is a dream car that has been well loved by me and previous owners and is now in need of some major TLC.Ideal for a Mercedes aficionado who desires a restoration project or for someone currently in need of a 380SL parts car. Condition:Inspected recently, expires 9/2013 - however it is now (as of 2/1/12) not in running orderEngine - 3.8L V8: currently in need of serious work; probably needs a valve job, replacement of tie rods and rod ends - a new/refurbished engine would be ideal; new radiator installed in 2010Body: paint and body in good condition; some rust around the gas tank; hard top in great condition; soft top in good condition - one plastic pane is damaged in the back; new muffler installed in 2008; undercarriage in good conditionBumpers: one medium size dent in fender; some dents in bumpers; some minor damage on front bumpersLights: all lights in working order; parking light in front needs proper reattachmentInterior: Leather Seats in good condition, could be upgraded; veneer around radio cracked; some cracks in panel under windshield; CD/Radio put in 2000, works perfectly; new antenna purchased but not installed yet; odometer stopped at 155,713 and probably another 40,000 miles put on it since then; all other dials work perfectly; driver's side visor needs replacing - have replacementA/C: needs a tune upHeat: works wellPower Windows: work Power Locks: work History:I have enjoyed this car since 1999; always a pleasure to drive especially with the top down!
