Vehicle Detail
Up for grabs is a coupe mustang that I found and bought for a friend that was looking for a body to convert to a 5.0. Long story short, I dont think the wife wanted a garage queen project. So I am just trying to sell it for what it cost me to bring up the tags etc. Condition of the car is without rust(as far as I can tell), decent body. Has seen a hail storm at some point(please look at pictures to give it your opinion of condition). I found this car while looking at a MGB for my old man. I dont know how long it has set, but I would guess at least since 2009. Has the ugly red interior, clear is peeling in spots and car it does not run. I did put a battery in it to see if the motor sounded ok, it turns over and does not seem to be damaged. Dont know anything beyond that, while it was setting behind my shop I think some real smart thiefs tried to steal it but seeing how the battery was out and next to the car on the ground it would not turn over when they broke the ignition. So I will need the tumbler replaced. I also have somehow missedplaced the keys, but will keep looking for them as the auction progresses, but please bid knowing they are missing. Thats about all I can think of, in summary it would be cheaper to just buy a 5.0 car, this car is a real piece of work, and you will have to be in love with it to take it home, you may get lucky and find out what is wrong with it for $100.00 or it could cost you a more than the car is worth. That being said please ask any and all question you may have and I will be glad to anwser.
