1968 Ford Ranchero 500 - Very Rare - They only made a total of 48 with this engine package option (FE 390-2V, 4spd ). Matching numbers Big Block FE 390-2V, I personally viewed the original ford vin number on the back of the drivers side block just below the head , a sure match. The Ranchero has been in a dry storage in Arizona for many years, motor turns over freely but does not run, with some work like wiring, hoses and other odds and ends she should run, the engine and compartment look to be in great shape, looks clean and detailed. This is a factory 4spd Ranchero 500, the 4spd tranny is still in the Vehicle along with the stock shifter, they look to be in good shape. The Rancheo came with a 9 inch 3.25 Conventional Axle (rearend). The Ranchero body is in great shape, the original Ford color is Brittany Blue, paint code Q, very rare ford color. The body is very solid, straight, and the paint is in great shape, has one small scratch on the passenger side fender, not a dent just a scratch that could be a easy fix, the floors are also in great shape, no major rust issues at all, like I said, this has been in a dry storage in Arizona for many years and that's why the paint and body is in great solid shape. You can see the detailed body, floors and paint in the posted pictures. The Ranchero Deluxe 500 interior is in fair shape, original Blue vinyl with bench seat , interior code 5B, it could use a interior kit, the dash is in fair/good shape, the interior looks to be pretty original, still has the original steering wheel along with the stock AM radio, you can see the interior in the posted pictures. This very rare 1968 Ranchero 500, needs some work but would not take that much to finish. You really never ever see these Ranchero's any place, especially a 1968 Ranchero 500 - Big Block FE 390-2V, 4sp that they only made 48 with this engine option package, also some more rare low numbers on the Deluxe Marti Report, only 652 with this paint code, also 592 only with these paint/trim codes, the DSO is very low too, 212 only, you can also see these rare low option numbers on the deluxe Marti Report that I have posted.
