This is an all original 76 Mercury Cougar XR7. It is a one owner car it was bought brand new by my aunt in 1976 off the show room floor in Owasso Oklahoma. SHe has owned and maintained it ever since. It has front and rear leather seats,power windows,power door locks,power seats,the air conditioner system was converted in 2005 to the updated R134 system and I just recently recharged it this year. I have given the car a complete tune up new spark plugs,wires,carburater kit,fuel pump,fuel filter, cap and rotor and a acid wash in the tank.The car does have a slight mis from what appears to be a vaccum leak or a dirty EGR valvE but with that being said the car cranks run and drives. The car burns no oil, does not smoke, and has COLD air.The car is in excellent condition there are no rips,tears,or scratches in the seats,carpets,dashboard,door pannels or windows. The car has a very straight body with only two small dings in the drivers door (see picture) no rust. There are a few scratches on the drivers door but nothing serious.Everything works on this car and works properly! The outside white vinyle on the roof is not cracked or dry it is still as soft as it was brand new but it does have two small tears in lower portion close to trunk(see picture). I done the tune up myself so I know it was done correctly my aunt had no children no therefore the car is totally kid free LOL. My aunt stopped driving the car in 2005 due to her loosing her license to diabeties. So the car did set up from 2005 until I got in in 2011 I have never had the car insured,tagged,or inspected because I dont want to drive the car Im scared some idiot driver would hit the car and damage its original condition. I have kept the car in the garage since I took possession of it. The car is a little dusty inside and out but I will have the car completly detailed and waxed before its picked up.
