details and pics comingOn Jul-13-12 at 16:02:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for sale is my 1986 944 Turbo. Right off the bat, the turbo is NOT WORKING. It will need to be replaced or rebuilt if you choose. This would be an excellent choice for an L2 hybrid in my opinion, see renegadehybrids.com for ideas.This was my daily driver until the turbo crapped out on me, and I thought about the V8 conversion, but I have 4 944's, and it's time to 'cull the herd's we say in Texas! The good, the body on this car is beautiful. No known mechanical issues. THICK CLOUDS of white smoke when the turbo attempts to spin up from turbo oil. The car drives well, but Mr State Trooper might not like the smoke screen!The interior is in good shape ,the usual light wear and tear like the drivers' bolster. Pics of interior to follow, being detailed today. All 4 wheels are the phone dials, not the odd chromed Fuch seen in pics.This is a great project car, because the body is so nice. The car can be seen in New Braunfels, TX, 30 min from the San Antonio (SAT) airport. Good luck! Low reserve.
