For sale is my 1989 2.7L 944. This edition featured the 2.7L engine sought out by many 944 racers for the increase from the previous 2.5L model years. It sports the rare 'dish' original Porsche wheels.The hood is a replacement from my 1985 parts car with 'battery terminal rash/corrosion/ from an oversized battery many years ago, as the hood latch released, the old hood flew up and buckled in two, breaking the windshield. Not a good day! but no other damage done. The windshield is brand new, replaced last month. The latch mechanism is being fixed by my longtime Porsche mechanic today. Runs strong, shifts smooth, no oil burning. The crucial timing belt was replaced 3,500 miles ago.This was my daily driver for several years, and driven sporadically the last 3 years. No other dents.The interior is an ivory/beige, and is being detailed today.
