West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this original southern California car and still with its original highly coveted 'Black California License Plates' 1967 Ford Mustang 289 V8 coupe which was built in San Jose, California on August 1st, 1967 and delivered to Los Angeles, California where it was originally sold to its original southern California owner who owned the car until 5/4/1977 when it was sold to only its second southern California owner and the car was always obviously garaged, loved and babied for it's entire life! The car has it's original 289 V8 engine and has factory power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning (no longer working or connected), a black vinyl roof and a C4 automatic transmission. It has a very good repaint from its original 'Diamond Green' color in a striking 'Platinum Gray' color, it's original 'Black Crinkle Vinyl Standard Interior, original C4 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, its original factory spare wheel and jack in the trunk and boasts its original 'Philco' radio. The car was recently purchased from the home garage of only its second southern California owner with the history of the car passed on from the previous owner and a touching letter passed on from the second owner documenting the cars loved history. This particular car must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - a very striking example which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no noticeable oil leaks and the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool.
