Vehicle Detail
This has been my 'commuter car' for the last 7 years. The engine has a lot of miles and should be replaced but it runs. My mechanic did compression test a year ago and I think on 2 cylinders the psi was less than 50psi. A third one showed about 90psi and about 120psi for a fourth cylinder. I can try to get specifics if you want, however, the point is that while it runs, It ain't runnin' so good. Not all the lights on the dash come on and the first 2 fan settings (1 and 2) do not work. The good news is the A/C works, power windows work, door locks would work with some lubrication, 2 of the 4 tires are in decent shape. On Jul-09-12 at 07:12:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Some things I forgot to add, prompted by a question from someone: The clutch and transmission seem to be fine. I replaced the clutch in 2007 (I think). The shift linkage is very loose and I'm sure it needs new bushings. I bought it in 2005 (160,000 mi.) and I don't believe it had an accident before that. The only 'accident' I've had was driving into an airborne piece of aluminum or sheet metal something on the expressway. It scraped up the hood, right-front fender and it skipped off the front edge of the roof. Because I had already kinked the hood trying to close it without removing the prop (doh!), I decided to replace it at the same time. The body shop didn't do such a great job with the painting, as you can see with the paint missing on the hood and the right, rear-view mirror. I replaced the front brake pads last Fall. I have not touched the rear brakes but I think one of the rear brake cylinders leaks. There is a dent on the right front fender where my oldest child either sat or jumped on it.
