I'm selling my parents' 2001 Ford E-150 Handicap Van. Both of my parents have recently died, so I no longer have need for the van. It is in very good condition. My dad was diligent at keeping up the maintenance and care of his vehicles. The van has been customized by installing a "PRIDE" lift which comes out the side door, as well as a "BRUNO" wheelchair lift in the rear of the van. The side lift uses the regular van seat to provide comfort for the disabled patient during the ride, instead of requiring him / her to remain in a wheelchair for transport. The patient is easily transferred from their power wheelchair into the van seat by using a transfer board. An added benefit is that nobody has to tie down the wheelchair or the rider, because the van seat uses a regular seatbelt ! Quick and easy, in and out. Opening the rear van doors reveals a lift to put your wheelchair into the rear of the van with no pain or strain. The van drives and runs perfectly with less than 74,000 miles. Everything works perfectly except the cruise control. It has newer Michelin tires. There is one small dent in the lower right rear from touching a fire hydrant. The van comes with the rear bench that was removed to accommodate the rear lift, and the second rear bucket seat that was removed to accommodate the side lift, so the van can be returned to an ordinary van in an afternoon, by removing the lifts, and reinstalling the seats. The title for the van is clear, it is currently registered in California, and passes California emissions testing. Kelly Blue Book is $7500, just for the van, which of course, does not include the added benefits of the handicap features. Thank you for shopping.
