We bought Gladys in 2006 from the second owner (who bought it from her sister!). She was in great condition then. Never been smoked in. I drove her as my main car for a year or so until the heat in the desert and no A/C got to me. Then I used her just in cool and cold weather (the heat works great once it warms up). We had hopes of fully restoring her until the arrival of our first child. We have realized it is time to let go of the two seater. So She is only part way restored. We just finished getting her painted, and she looks so great, all spruced up! The interior has a new dash. The tires are in good shape. The headlights need to be rewired, and the passenger side front blinker is missing. The carpet on the back shelf below the back windshield needs to be replaced. The clips for the visors need to be replaced and we have new ones that you can have. The seats had been redone in 06, and are still in great shape. The engine is running great, and if you need some details on that email or call and we can fill you in, my husband has the details on that and is out of town today. He did some work mechanically and the car runs soundly. I don't know what the mileage really is, I imagine it has turned over once and is 115367. This does have the 1600 CC engine which is the nicer one. Like I said, please ask I'll get the details of that stuff from my husband. This car has been in New Mexico since the second owner brought it out here in the 70's!! There is only one place that is rusted, and that is under the battery, which I think is from the battery acid.
