Vehicle Detail
Description You are bidding on a 1993 Toyota 4x4 DX Ext. Cab pickup truck. The motor is a 22-RE (RE stands for electronic fuel injection) 4 cylinder 2.4L and has a manual 5 Speed transmission. The truck is currently sanded down to primer grey to be painted. Three of the four tires are inflated and in fair conditon. The forth blew out on me during a routine trip to work. The spare is currently on the truck now. This truck will need tires and a paint job. It has 4 chrome American Racing "Tailgunner" style, 15x12" wheels that I would say are in fair to good conditon. The exaust is detached currently due to me trying to find a header for it, I never found one, so the truck will come with a Pacesetter header that has been used and of course the factory header. The exaust is a Flowmaster 40 series single in duel out system. You might need to replace the exaust tips as they tend to go bad over time (meaning they rust or become real dirty and not the pretty chrome they are supposed to be). I have had this truck since I was 16 years old and I'm currently 28. It has always been my intention to rebuild this truck from scratch and make it the way I wish I could have at 16. The motor was rebuilt by a local shop known as "Morris Automotive". This was approx. 4 years ago. Miles on new motor is somewhere near 37,000. I have replaced the following in the last year....Warn manual locking hubs, Centerforce brand clutch (if you are a mechanic you will know that when replacing the clutch it is wise to replace the rear main seal at the same time, even if it doesn't need it. Which I did.) New front brake rotors and pads. Rancho RS5000 shocks (have been on the truck for a while and have suffered from pressure washer as far as the exterior trademark white color of Rancho and sticker). Reason for selling I have been notified my job is transfering me and where I'm going, I won't be able to finish this truck or have room for it. I have close to $17,000.00 in this truck over time with new parts (some parts that had to be bought from a dealship), motor rebuild and other mechanical issues that have been replaced. Brand new parts Now for all the new parts, some are on the truck and some are still in their original packaging and haven't seen the light of day. All parts will come with the sale of the truck..... New front and rear bumpers (from Toyota), Headlight doors, grill, Headlights w/ projector lens and Halo glow, Viper alarm system w/keyless entry, Forged aluminum radiator, glow gauge insert for dash cluster, fan shroud, new fenders (from Toyota), Rear view mirror with map light, side view outside mirrors (Black/chrome), Euro Altezza tail lights, Clear turn signal lights, Clear side marker lights, Stinger Roadkill sound matting in the entire cab of the truck (also sound deadning rubber matting sprayed over top the Roadkill matting), Brand new seats, sun visors and door panels customized by an upholestry shop featured in "Truckin'" magazine that have never been in the truck or sat in by anyone, bed liner and many more parts. The motor is all together with the exception of the belts, fan clutch and main fan and the distributer. It was my intention to replace the previously mentioned engine parts, but I haven't had time. The truck has never been off-roaded or driven hard since I've been the owner. I don't want to sell this truck, it is my youth, my past and tons of great memories. But I have no other choice. As I mentioned above I have put nearly $17,000.00 in it, not to mention blood, sweat and tears, but I am starting this bid very low to make for a quick sell as I am running out of time. Payment, Warranty and Shipping Payment is due within 5 business days after the winning bid. I will except PayPal or a certified Money Order (MO must be sent and received by 5 business days after the winning bid, my father was a postmaster for the USPS so I know this can be done from anywhere in the USA. This truck will only be sold in the United States as I am unfamiliar with internation rules for the sale of a motor vehicle. Shipping will be at the expense of the buyer, I will not sink another dime into this truck for someone else to enjoy. Sorry if that sounds cruel but, I have enough money in it as it is. I will provide you with some car carrier companies I have used in the past to carry some very high end vehicles of my own, but that is it on my end. The truck is located in central South Carolina. This truck has no warranty be it factory, me (as the owner) or any other to my knowledge. The motor had a warranty through the shop that rebuilt it, but that has come and gone due to not millage, but time. So no warranty on the motor either. This truck is sold as is. Conditon in which you will receive the truck As I mentoned above the truck is currently stripped down, all parts will arrive to you via the car carrier company you pick in either white storage boxes or factory sealed boxes (for the new parts). I do not have the time to re-assemble the truck. At the very most, it will take you one full day to put this back together. All of the bolts and screws will come with the truck and some of the bags are labeled as to where they go and what piece. In closing.... I will post pictures of the truck from 2003 and what it currently looks like. If you should have any questions about the truck I will be happy to answer them for you as soon as humanly possible. This is a great truck to have for a teenager looking for that first 4x4. It's awesome on gas, which is a huge plus in this economy. GOOD LUCK ON BIDDING!
