I am selling this 1964 ½ Mustang for my dad. It is a rare D-code Mustang. D code means high performance engine with a 4 barrell carb. Engine has been upgraded with a 4 barrell Holley carb and an Edelbrock aluminum intake and 2 inch exhaust. It also has a 4 line aluminum radiator and clutch radiator fan. It runs good and strong. The car is an early 64 ½ and was manufactured on April 27, 1964 which was the start of the Mustang era. The first Mustang was displayed to the public for the first time at the World’s Fair in New York City on April 17, 1964. The transmission has been upgraded to an AOD for better performance and fuel economy. The original C4 transmission is available if wanted. An A/C unit has been added and is complete except for the hoses. The blower and compressor work well. The car runs and drives well and is fun to drive. The paint has a really good shine, but is not perfect. The car looks really good. The color is Pace Car White. The interior is good except for a small tear in the drivers seat. The dash panel and carpet are new. The radio works. The tires are very good. The chrome is good and some of it is new, such as the front bumper. The car had some rust in the past, but it has been taken care of. The driving and riding of the car is excellent. The engine is good and uses little oil, if any and does not smoke or make any noises.
