Last time Im listing this car. Anyone interested? This Acura TL is a salvage/rebiult car. I bought it from a dealer in Fla. back in 09 for $7,100.00. It has passed a S. Carolina & Fla dmv inspection for salvage vehicles. They must pass these test to be operated on public highways. In Iowa you can get this titled cleared and be a regular title. They go thru the same inspection. If you do not know about this kind of vehicle you probably should not bid on this car. Engine is mechanically good. Have never had a problem with it, but it only has 88k miles or less than half of what it should be. Changed oil every 3,000 miles like it should. Had the transmission flushed when I got it, 180 dollars. Has brand new tires with maybe 500 miles on them,500 dollars. Have installed a multiplex stereo with trunk mounted 10 cd changer in it and also have the original radio multiplex, but that cd player does not work. Factory type installation so it cannot be stolen. Can have both or I can remove my after market one and subtract some cash from sale. Heated leather seats, sunroof, air works great, heater, cruise, basically loaded car. The Bad, Transmission is starting to have some problems. Depending on which transmission shop you believe, as I took it to 3 shops. It may need replacing at a cost of $650 used with 90 day warranty, to $1395 with 2 year warranty. Now 2 shops told me it is a sensor or pressure valve that shifts the tranny into the drive gear that is the culprit. The other shop said it needs to be replaced and that was over a year ago and I am still driving it every day to work. Then again I know how to drive the car and get it to shift like it supposed to. If you have any concerns do not bid. Now as you look at the pix you can see that the clear is peeling away from the paint in several areas, hood, top, top of doors and trunk. If this bothers you, do not bid. Need some TLc to be a real nice car. I do not have the time and I just bought a 2005 Honda, so I want to sell this Acura.
